Thank you for distilling this information. I particularly appreciated this section: Why It’s Okay to Restack Notes on Different Topics Even When You Focus on One Theme.

Yes. It is almost like life itself. We can have our way of living but still appreciate how others lead their lives.

Thanks, Sarah, this is super helpful! :) Questions: Is there such a thing as making too many Notes? Also, do we use hashtags or keywords anywhere? (posts or notes) As you can see from my first post if you have a minute to check it/me out, I write on a variety of topics, mostly personal-growth oriented, but also on creativity, writing, editing, poetry, so it's great to know that it can be helpful to go wide with Notes. Thanks again!

Dear Sage, interaction is essential. Could you share other people's notes and comment on them? But also try to ask questions and give answers, connect with others. Five to ten notes per day might be good, but that also includes notes from others. In the end, you need time. There are no hashtags on Substack. I am looking into Google Analytics soon and keep everyone updated here.

Love that, will do! Thanks so much for the reply and tips. I'm going to look for your Notes now. To interact with another creator's Notes, do we click reply, restack, or ...? Sorry to be such a nube, but I am soooo on fire about Substack and want to learn everything yesterday. LOL Thanks again! And I assume sharing this to Notes is always a good idea. So here we glow!

Restack. With or without your comment. And like it, too.
